Kasalagere (455): This is a village near Devalapur from which five inscriptions are reported. A record dated 1142 AD near the ruined Kalleshwara temple outside the village records a grant made by Savanta Someyanayaka, a disciple of Bhanukirti Siddhanta, to the god Parshvanatha. Ballala Another record dated 1190 AD registers a grant for daily services to Lord Kalideva at Hebbidiravadi. Another record dated about 12th century earlier to the left mentions the local Basada as 'Ekoti Jinalaya of Kalyunina' and names the sculptor Machoja and hails him as the Acharya of Kalkuni Nadi and Vishwakarma of this Kali Yuga

@ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ @ಚೋಳರನ್ನು ತಲಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆದ್ದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸೇನಾನಿ ಗಂಗರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಉಂಬಳಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೂಂದು ಶಾಸನವು ಮಂಡ್ಯಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ಮದ್ದೂರು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ತಿಪ್ಪೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಜಿನಗುಡ್ಡದ ಮೇಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಶಾಸನದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹೊಯ್ಸಳರ ದಂಡನಾಯಕ ಗಂಗರಾಜನು ಚೋಳರ ದಂಡನಾಯಕ ಅದಮನಿಗೆ ಶರಣಾಗುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅದಮನು ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಶರಣಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೇಕಿದ್ದರೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಗೆದ್ದುಕೋ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆಗ, ಚೋಳರ ಅದಿಯಮ (ಅದಿಮ) ದಾಮೋದರ, ನರಸಿಂಗವರ್ಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊಯ್ಸಳರ ದೊರೆ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನನ ನಡುವೆ ಭೀಕರ ಯುದ್ಧ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. Another inscription about @Vishnuvardhan's victory over the Cholas in @Talakad and the fact that he gave his soldier @Gangaraja a message on this occasion is on @Jinagudda of Tippur village in @Mandya district, @Maddur taluk.
